October sales of
Conejo Valley single-family homes totaled 112. This compares to 95 sold in
September and 68 a year ago, according to the Conejo Valley Association of
Realtors®
Median sales price
for single-family homes in October 2008 was $649,038; in 2007 it was $777,778.
The median price is the point where half of the units sold for more and half
for less.
Median prices for
single-family homes in October were as follows: 494,999 for 37 three-bedroom
homes; and $707,236 for 75 four or more bedroom homes. This compares to sales
in October 2007 of $812,500 for 3 two-bedroom homes; 609,375 for 17
three-bedroom homes; and $857,142 for 48 four or more bedroom homes. There were
no homes during this period that sold with 2 or fewer bedrooms.
Condominium sales
totaled 44 in October compared to 45 in September 2008 and 32 for October
2007.
Total Sales for all
real estate transactions in October were $100,228,316; for October 2007 the
total was $76,410,370.
New residential
listings totaled 283 in October 2008 compared to 320 October 2007 and 269 in
September 2008.
