October sales of
Conejo Valley single-family homes totaled 137. This compares to 111 sold in
September and 112 a year ago, according to the Conejo Valley Association of
Realtors®
Median sales price
for single-family homes in October 2009 was $644,444; in 2008 it was $649,038.
The median price is the point where half of the units sold for more and half
for less.
Median prices for
single-family homes in August were as follows: $283,333 for 6 home up to two
bedrooms; $493,749 for 43 three-bedroom homes; and $727,272 for 88 our or more
bedroom homes. This compares to sales in October 2008 of $494,999 for 37
three-bedroom homes; and $707,236 for 75 our or more bedroom homes.
Condominium sales
totaled 51 in October compared to 48 in September 2009 and 44 for October
2008.
Total Sales for all
real estate transactions in October were $120,936,659; for October 2008 the
total was $100,228,316.
New residential
listings totaled 226 in October 2009 compared to 283 in October 2008 and 251 in
September 2009.
